The Africa America Trade & Investment Summit is the premier transatlantic gathering for governments, multinationals and enterprises building the next chapter of Africa–U.S. commerce. Its 3rd Edition returns to Cincinnati under the theme of Ghana and the 24-Hour Economy — a defining policy framework for accelerating industrial output, exports and employment.
Over two days of closed sessions, plenaries and bilateral meetings, the Summit will formalize commitments across four strategic deliverables — $1 billion in Ghanaian exports to North America, $1 billion in foreign direct investment, the establishment of Ghana Trade Centers across the United States, and the creation of one million direct and indirect jobs.
The Summit is convened in partnership with the Government of Ghana, the City of Cincinnati and a coalition of Fortune 500 companies committed to the future of transatlantic enterprise.
